Center for Teaching and Learning
Classroom Conversations

Classroom conversations are informal, small-group discussions led by various members of the EMCC community where faculty discuss issues that impact teaching and learning in the classroom. Topics include latest pedagogical innovations, good ideas, assessment, and student-related issues.

Student Conference

At the end of the Spring Semester, EMCC hosts a student conference where students share their research. The research that students complete is done under the guidance of a faculty mentor who supports the student through an entire research cycle. The student conference, which is open to all the Maricopa Community Colleges, showcases student accomplishments and prepares them for the applied experiences they'll encounter in their life after they leave community college.
